Llantrithyd Park – Guided deer walk

Bring your own picnic for this two hour guided walk through the Park to see the three herds of deer who live behind the ancient walls of Llantrithyd Deer Park. As a private estate not generally open to the public, Maria, the Deer Park owner, will guide you through this magical estate and answer your questions. The walk will be approximately 2km and will vary depending on where the deer are. As it is calving season you may be lucky enough to see some calves but equally it's a sensitive time so tours are for a maximum of 12 people at a time. The park is hilly in places so not suitable for very young children or wheelchair uses. After the tour you will be able to visit the Park Shop to purchase antler, eggs, dog chews, park photography and sustainable firewood, or put in your pre-order for the next season’s venison. Including a chance to picnic overlooking the park. Wellies or good walking boots and a water bottle are required!
